Social Enterprises and Community Development in Rural Areas Workshop
Next workshop, “Social Enterprises and Community Development in Rural Areas Workshop” within the Cooperation of V4+ rural tourism actors through social and digital innovation project going to take place between May 6th – 11th, 2019 in Uherce Minerale, Poland.
The workshop will be available for 25 participants from rural areas: for students and for young entrepreneurs from Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Romania, and Ukraine. The participation is free of charge but previous experience in community development, in NGO projects, in enterprises on in family-related businesses is required. Transportation cost cannot be reimbursed or covered by this project.
During the event, Participants will have the possibility to improve their services through interactive, tailor-made exercises and with the help of the facilitators, experts during individual consultations they will implement their social entrepreneurship’ business model and plan. Entrepreneurship is considered a central force of economic development, as it generates growth and serves as a vehicle for innovation and change.
This workshop will be a capacity building programme that provides skills and support systems for a new community of social entrepreneurs. The workshop will bring together about 30 social entrepreneurs from them to capacity builders. The idea is to encourage the development of social enterprises strengthening cross-sectoral collaborations to sustain community development.
