In the policy roundtables, special gaming techniques developed by BOND will provide the interface to facilitate the creation of alliances and coalitions. The outcome will be the drafting of specific agreements in the form of 8 “Memorandum of Understanding” for collective action in specific fields, to be implemented during and after project completion. Memoranda will be agreed upon between farmer/land manager groups, other key stakeholders and policy-makers.

Survey Report on Potential Partners
and Topics to Memorandum of
Understanding

In order to identify the potential countries and partners for Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the Hugarian partner, KLT, made a survey as an initial step, involving more than 100 people from 20 different countries during the Interregional Forum in Córdoba.

It was requested to the respondents to indicate, among the potential partners and topics, which are the important topics where agreement may be reached easily and which are those topics in which it is difficult, however topic is an important matter.

The potential topics for cooperation

Three topics were proposed: Sustainable farming, Access to market, Environmental sustainability.

Respondents evaluated “Access to market” from the three topics which is the most probable to achieve an agreement easily, since 72 votes were casted from 16 countries.

The potential parties for cooperation

Generally ministry was marked as potential partner for party to MoU both in the case of „easy agreement” with 39 votes, Municipalities follow with 34 votes.
